> Home grown relationship.
When it comes to discussing financial matters and the benefits of a
long-term relationship, Shari Sekel knows what she's talking about.
She opened her first account when she was nine years old and has
been a member ever since. She also served on PenFinancial's Board
of Directors. “I've always been a credit union person. It feels like home.
I remember going to the Credit Union with my dad and everyone
knew his name, which was very meaningful to me.
Dealing with a financial institution simply because
of rates is a very short term approach.” Shari believes PenFinancial’s
local roots and home grown philosophy also align with her family’s
goals, both personally and financially. It's obvious from the
enthusiastic way she talks about PenFinancial that Shari strongly
believes other people can benefit from working with a financial
partner that is big enough to offer you all the products you need and
small enough to genuinely care about you and
your family.
