Alexandra School kids treated to very special guests for breakfast!

The children from Alexandra School were recently treated to very special surprise guests, when a group of St. Catharines Firefighters joined them at their daily breakfast program. Over thirty children gathered to learn all about fire safety, watch Jen, the Breakfast Program Co-ordinator dress up in firefighting gear and ask questions about the duties of the firefighting team. First Class Firefighter Darryl Dobrindt then invited all the kids outside to take a tour of their fire truck, and before long, all the students from the School gathered around to take part in the activities.

PenFinancial is proud to support Alexandra School's breakfast and reading programs and was pleased to arrange to bring the firefighters to meet the kids. A special thanks to Joanne Dobrindt from the Lake Street branch for her tireless efforts in making a difference in the lives of our neighbourhood school children.
