PenFinancial announces $15,000 donation to Take it to Heart Campaign
PenFinancial Credit Union recently announced a $15,000 pledged donation in support of the
Niagara Health System's new regional hospital. The investment will be directed to the "Take it To Heart" Capital
Campaign which will help to build the new $25 Million Catheterization Lab at the new site.
Recent statistics indicate approximately 1,800 people from Niagara receive cardiac catheterization procedures each
year – roughly 70 per cent of them in Hamilton. Building a cath lab at the new hospital will enable many Niagara
patients to receive treatment closer to home.
On Thursday, February 4th, a special donation presentation was made at the new regional hospital site.
