Wins the 2010 PenFinancial Video Scholarship Contest
$1500 Scholarship Prize will support Joshua's Brock University Education

PenFinancial Credit Union is pleased to announce the Niagara student winner of their 2010 Student Scholarship Award, in the amount of $1500. Joshua Trinder's scholarship will go towards a Bachelor of Physical Education honours degree and a Bachelor of Education degree, from the Department of Physical Education and Kinesiology, at Brock University.
Joshua, a grade 12 student at Thorold High School was surprised with the $1500 Scholarship award from Bob Watson, PenFinancial Credit Union CEO on Wednesday, June 16, where the entire school gathered in the school gymnasium to congratulate and celebrate Joshua's win.
The Scholarship contest required students to post a Youtube video answering the question; why are you passionate about your chosen program of study? In other words, what do you want to be when you grow up and why? The videos were judged on creativity, visual appeal, use of props, storytelling, flow, sincerity, professionalism and the overall feeling.
