For Students’s Financial Literacy Program aims to educate and inform youth in Niagara on all things related to money management in a fun and engaging way. The presentation was forged by a mix of PenFinancial employees including some students and recent graduates. It’s these very same employees who are now out in the Niagara Communities delivering this presentation to secondary schools and youth focused organizations.

Some of topics in the presentation include: budgeting, the credit card trap, debit vs. credit, and the difference between a credit union and a bank, amongst others! In addition to these topics, the team has also delivered customized presentations to different groups on topics ranging from identifying counterfeit money to financing your post secondary education. Of course we always bring the Sprowt prize wheel along to reward those who get involved in the presentation! Since the program began in the Spring of 2012 has delivered the presentation at over 10 different schools and workshops in Niagara.

Our team of presenters includes: Lisa Alfarano, Akshat Kaushal, Matt Price, Adam Rempel, Rob Taylor and Emily Williams-Yeagers.
