About the Bob Watson Community Room
Located in PenFinancial’s Fourth Avenue branch in St. Catharines, The Bob Watson Community Room is available at no charge to local community groups and not-for-profit organizations, regardless of whether or not they are currently members of PenFinancial Credit Union.
The room incorporates design elements reflective of the Niagara region such as wood accents and bespoke lighting that pays homage to the wine region – making this a Truly Local space.
The room is intended for organizations who do not have a physical meeting location of their own, and is designed for occasional use for activities such as committee meetings, planning sessions, or other business meetings.
Room features
- Self-contained meeting area within the Fourth Avenue PenFinancial Credit Union branch.
- Maximum capacity of 22 people.
- Modular tables and rolling chairs allowing for a flexible set-up.
- Projector, white board, and Polycom.
- Fully accessible restrooms.
- Reservations are available during regular branch hours only – view the current Fourth Avenue branch hours.
- Meetings must be concluded 15 minutes before the branch closes to accommodate our end of day security procedures.
- The room is equipped with wi-fi and a projector; instructions for connecting your laptop are provided on signage in the room.
- A Polycom is also available to support conference calls.
- Unfortunately, branch staff are unable to provide on-site technical support. If you have more complex AV needs, please ensure you have someone in your group able to support your guests.
- The room features a small prep kitchen with sink and bar fridge.
- We are unable to provide catering support, but you are welcome to bring your own refreshments and supplies.
Alcohol consumption is not permitted.

The following supplies are available in the room. Please plan accordingly if you have any other requirements.
- Markers for the white board.
- Easel stand and flip chart paper.
- Extra power bars.
Room Etiquette
- Please conclude your meetings 15 minutes prior to branch closing.
- We ask that guests of the Community Room park in the lot on the west side of the branch.
- All meeting activities must remain in the Community Room in order to avoid disruption to branch operations; breakout groups within the branch cannot be accommodated.
- A restroom is available within the Community Room; we ask that all guests use this restroom exclusively.
- If you have moved furniture, please return to the original set-up before leaving.
- Ensure the white board is wiped clean before leaving.
- Alcohol is not permitted at any time.
