April 20, 2021: COVID-19 continues to impact many people in our communities. Recognizing this, we’re making a donation in the amount of $25,000 to support local organizations providing emergency support for those in need.
To ensure all of our communities are supported we’ve made donations to organizations that operate across the region, as well as local organizations in our communities selected by each of our branches.
Socks For Change is PenFinancial's signature partnership as part of our Truly Local Commitment. Socks For Change provides warm, quality wool socks and winter accessories to charities, shelters and schools in every community across Niagara. Socks for Change also donates winter accessories such as toques and scarves.
Since our partnership began in 2018, working together we've donated more than 65,000 pairs of socks and 100,000 winter accessories to those in need.
We're thrilled to announce PenFi is once again partnering with Socks for Change to deliver warm socks to those in need this winter. New for 2020, when you purchase one pair of wool socks, two pairs of socks will be donated to someone in need.
