Contest rules and regulations

Contest Period

The PenFinancial Member Satisfaction Survey draw begins on May 5, 2025 at 12:00 am Eastern Time (ET) and closes May 26, 2025 at 11:59 pm (ET).

 

Contest Parties

The contest is sponsored by PenFinancial Credit Union and administered by PMG Intelligence, 2 Wyndham St. N, 4th Floor Guelph, ON N1H 4E3, Canada.

 

Eligibility

No purchase or survey completion necessary.

This contest is only open to current members of PenFinancial Credit Union Limited who reside in Ontario and are older than 18 years of age at the time of entry.

Employees, representatives, or agents of PenFinancial Credit Union or PMG Intelligence, their subsidiaries, affiliates, and members of their respective immediate families, and anyone with whom such employees are domiciled, are not eligible.

 

How to Enter

To enter the PenFinancial Member Satisfaction draw, eligible individuals must submit a completed 2025 Member Survey on, or before, May 26, 2025 at 11:59 pm (ET). By entering this contest, participants agree to abide by the contest rules and regulations and the decisions of PenFinancial Credit Union, which are final.

No purchase or survey completion necessary. Individuals who received the survey invitation, but do not wish to complete the survey, may enter by emailing their name, complete address, and telephone number to samanthab@pmgintelligence.com. To be eligible, your Entry must be submitted and received within the contest period. All eligible entries submitted and received during the contest period will be entered into the random prize draw.

There is a limit of one entry per person/email.

 

The Prize and Approximate Retail Value

One of two $150 CDN gift cards to Dine Niagara.

The prize must be accepted as awarded. No substitution of prizes is permitted except by PenFinancial Credit Union, in their sole discretion. PenFinancial Credit Union, reserves the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value. Prizes are not redeemable for cash or credit, in whole or in part. Prizes must be accepted as awarded and may not be transferred. The odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible participants. The deadline for claiming the prize is July 31, 2025 and will only be awarded to the person whose verifiable full name and contact details appear on the entry form.

 

How To Win

On May 28, 2025, one eligible entry will be randomly drawn from among all eligible entries submitted and received during the contest period in accordance with these rules. The odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries submitted during the Contest Period.

The Administrator or a designated representative will make a minimum of five attempts to contact the selected entrants using the contact information provided within five business days of the draw date. If any of the selected entrants cannot be contacted within five business days of the draw date, or if there is a return of any notification as undeliverable; then he/she may, in the sole and absolute discretion of the Administrator, be disqualified (and, if disqualified, will forfeit all rights to the Prize) and the Administrator reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion and time permitting, to randomly select an alternate eligible entrant from among the remaining eligible entries (in which case the foregoing provisions of this section shall apply to such newly selected entrant) until all the prizes have been awarded.

In order to win, selected participants must meet the eligibility requirements as listed in “How To Enter” and “Eligibility” above and have complied with all other official contest rules and either they or their parent or guardian (if the recipient is under 18 years old) must first correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question. The selected participant will be contacted by telephone by a representative of PenFinancial Credit Union to make arrangements for administering the skill-testing question. Arrangements will be made for the awarding of the prize at the time the skill-testing question is administered and correctly answered.

To be awarded a prize, the winner, or the winner’s parent or guardian must sign a waiver indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these Rules and agrees that PenFinancial Credit Union shall have the right to announce and publish the winner’s name, address (city only), photograph, likeness, voice or statements without further compensation, at any time and from time to time, in any future publicity, subject to applicable law.

If the selected entrant: (a) fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question within the time limit; (b) fails to return the properly executed contest documents within the specified time; (c) cannot accept (or is unwilling to accept) the prize as awarded for any reason; and/or (d) is determined to be in violation of these rules (all as determined by the Administrator in its sole and absolute discretion); then he/she may, in the sole and absolute discretion of the Administrator, be disqualified (and, if disqualified, will forfeit all rights to the prize) and the Administrator reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion and time permitting, to randomly select an alternate eligible entrant from among the remaining eligible entries (in which case the foregoing provisions of this section shall apply to such newly selected entrant).

 

General Information

By entering this contest, each entrant expressly consents to the Administrator, its agents and/or representatives, storing, sharing and using the personal information submitted with his/her entry only for the purpose of administering the contest.
