We continue to make progress at our new Niagara Falls branch. Offices have been framed and will be finished soon, and our exterior signage will be installed in the coming weeks!
We’re excited to introduce Sandra Arsenault as Branch Manager at our new Niagara Falls location! We’ve also listened to your feedback about wanting more ATM locations and are pleased to announce that the ATM at the current Dorchester Road location will remain in place indefinitely as a cash-only ATM.
We can’t wait to welcome you to the new location in early 2022.
While the crews have been working diligently on the interior of the new Niagara Falls branch, we’ve put up some slick new window graphics on our front entrance. Check them out next time you’re in the neighbourhood.
We’re excited to bring you another video update from our CEO, Ken Janzen, who was inside the new branch yesterday (October 13, 2021). The interior has been opened up, drywall is installed, and we’ll be starting to frame in offices, the greeting area, and the Member Service Representative stations in the coming weeks.
The crews at the new Niagara Falls branch continue to make great progress both on the exterior and interior of our new location at 7190 Morrison Street. Windows are in, updates to the exterior are well underway, and framing has begun inside.
Temporary signage is moving in place while we continue to make great progress with construction. Over the coming months, you'll begin to notice significant progress made to the interior should you decide to take a peek from the parking lot.
Demolition is well underway and the new entrance way is starting to take shape. Meanwhile we're continuing to work with the architects to design interior spaces that are more functional and comfortable for our members and our employees.
We're excited to bring you the latest video update directly from our CEO, Ken Janzen, who was on the construction site yesterday (July 14, 2021). Progress is moving along well, and we can't wait to bring you future updates.
It’s been a long time in the works, but after an exhaustive search that took us to all corners of Niagara Falls, we’re thrilled to finally be able to let the cat out of the bag and unveil the location of our newest branch.
Our new Niagara Falls location will be at 7190 Morrison Street – which is at the intersection of Morrison Street and Dorchester Road.
We are targeting an opening date of December 2021*, at which time we will be closing the Dorchester Road branch and migrating members to the new branch.
Highlights of the new branch include:
*Update: Due to permit changes and supply issues, we plan to open the new location in the 1st quarter of 2022.
The new branch at 7190 Morrison St. is now open as of April 25, 2022 at 9:00 am.
We can appreciate you’re anxious to finally get a Niagara Falls location that provides you with a more modern and comfortable banking experience. We are too!
Finding a location that would serve our members well and provide easy access and parking was a priority for us. We also wanted to find a location in a central area of Niagara Falls so that the new branch would be convenient for the majority of members. Finding an available storefront that we could customize to meet our needs required a thorough search, and with available real estate being limited, combined with the effects of the pandemic, this was not an easy task.
Now that we have found the ideal location and the contracts are signed, we’re now focused on obtaining the necessary permits, working with the architects, and sourcing the building materials needed to bring our vision to life. We still have a long road ahead, but we’re committed to pushing hard to meet our target date.
Yes! An ATM will be available 24/7 at the new Niagara Falls branch as of April 25, 2022 at 9:00 am.
We will be offering standard hours at the new branch including Monday to Friday and Saturdays. We’ll finalize the opening hours and communicate them here and on our Contact Us page closer to launch.
One of the best things about this location is the parking and ease of accessing the branch. There is loads of free parking and it will be easy to enter and exit the plaza from either Dorchester Road or Morrison Street.
The Dorchester Road branch will permanently close as of April 22, 2022 at 4 pm.
We’ve listened to feedback from our members, and we are pleased to announce that the ATM at the current Dorchester Road location will remain in place indefinitely for cash withdrawals only.
We will be working directly with affected members to move their accounts to the new Niagara Falls branch and will do everything we can to minimize any inconvenience.
No problem. We can work with you to transfer your accounts to the location most convenient for you. We will be reaching out to all existing Dorchester Road members in the coming months to provide more information.
No. There will be no changes to your member number, account numbers or the transit number for the branch.
No. You may continue to use existing cheques and there are no changes required to any pre-authorized payments or transactions.
You will continue to use your current member number and access code (PAC). Closer to the launch date we will update the branch name to reflect “Niagara Falls” in the drop-down options.
We will work directly with impacted members to ensure a smooth transfer of safety deposit boxes to the new location. Additional details will be shared in the coming months.
Absolutely! We’ll be providing a full range of services from the new Niagara Falls branch. We’ll be in touch with the specifics of how accounts will be migrated in the coming months.
